The Walburg boys are an authentic German alpine and variety band. The leader of the band, Ronny Tippelt, is from Munich, Germany. He plays accordion, sings, and is considered one of the best yodelers in the United States. Casey Yager is a multitalented guitar player, singer, and yodeler. These two performers bring a quality of singing and harmony like few have heard in Alpine bands today. Steve Howe is a talented baritone and bass player, along with Bryan Hibler playing Lead Guitar and Todd Weaver as the percussionist rounding out the band. Both of these musicians bring their talents of playing and singing to complement and add to the unbelievable sound which this group puts out.
This band has been captivation audiences with its energy and abundant talent all over the United States, Germany, Austria, And Switzerland, with its amazing blending of voice and instruments. They have played at the Munich Octoberfest, Taj Mahal in New Jersey, and Octoberfest and many festivals all over the U.S. Including Minnesota, Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas.
The Walburg Boys play all of your favorite polkas and waltzes and other authentic alpine music complete with an abundance of yodeling. We are able to transform into a variety band if needed playing anything form standard dance and American music to country to rock and roll, and just about anything else that is requested.
